Hi all,
I'm very new to the resin world and even newer to this forum. I am currently in the process of making up some knee sliders to use on the racetrack and have a few questions.
I am using Synolite 0328-A-1 Casting resin which is a "water clear" polyester resin.
My first questions is that the resin has proved to be quite brittle and when used in the track it chips as I hit the tarmac. Is there an additive I could add to make the casting a tad more flexible and less prone to chipping?
My second question is that all of the cured castings looks like the picture below when they are removed from the mould. Is this caused by the silicone mould itself or have I got something massively wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help and any input is appreciated.
