I considered asking where you got your Styrene Zac, I figured you bought by the tonne
I found a place online, some kind of engineering supplies store and bought a big whack of that, but yeah after that I'll be down to the local railway hobby store as they have a fair bit down there too... Almost got imperial fleet #1 done as well..

Brian you're very lucky! I'm to this day very displeased with the one I got. I can't believe they still shipped your so badly though! It's just crazy!

In terms of styrene, I have a couple of sources. When I bought my CNC machine I bought some ~1.2x2.4m sheets of styrene in 1 and 1.5mm thickness. Just so I didn't have to be too stingy when cutting stuff out. I use that on larger projects too, like terrain.

I bought a whole heap of ~A4 sized sheets in sizes from 0.25mm to 2mm from . I also recommend their pack of , which is invaluable for doing BFG detailing.

You know, if you guys scratchbuild anything cool I'm happy to look at casting a bunch of copies of them for you!

GW Banned the NAF :
- from organising it's yearly tournament in Warhammer World.
- from editing the yearly triplet of Blood Bowl dices...

They are not only shutting down specialist games. They doing just a bit more than that...

I was wondering if GW would start cutting off Specialist Games completely. I was chatting with Alan on Skype last night and Alan was telling me about watching a game of BFG at Warhammer World. I wonder if they will ever ban non 40k/WHFB games completely?

Can you clarify the yearly dice thing? Sure GW can't stop special dice being made?

The NAF had the authorization to produce a triplet of dices with the official GW art on the sides : (Pow, Pow Dodge, Pow Skull, Skull, Arrow, Arrow)


Each year they offered a different color triplet with subscription.

Now they forbid the use of the symbols...
This little decision is probably going to destroy the NAF financialy...
Most player go to the NAF for these dice.

That is quite ridiculous, but surely it is a simple matter to create new "official" artwork (i.e. the same set of icons but just with new styled images)?
