Hi all. I'm in a pinch during Thanksgiving here. Every retail outlet that we source titanium dioxide pigment from is closed. Lowes sold me their white liquid pigment used as a coloring agent in the paint department and I'm wondering if this is the same as or different from liquid pigments made for resin casting. We use a polyester/acrylic resin blend from AOC; 11 gals per cast, which is roughly 2lbs of pigment. Can I safely use this without negatively affecting the resin? Below are the ingredients, Lowes claims that it is mostly titanium dioxide (white), product is called "NovoColor II Universal Colorant" made by Color Corporation of America out of Rockford, IL:
-Titanium Dioxide
-Water
-Talc
-Proprietary Additives
-Proprietary Inerts
