The first prow is the torpedo prow, it has six torpedo tubes.

Both prow styles still need some sensor arrays in the blank central piece!
Oh yeah I can make that....

its possible to magnetize the hell out of this model! I like it!

It is very common for resin copies to be used as master, the resin i use has a 2% shrinkage which is basically nothing. So the first prisitine pieces your master mold coughs up will be used as the pieces for the production mold.

Ah, like so! I was almost tempted to make turret sprues, meaning that they would be printed out as a sprue. 8 turrets per sprue.

However, your idea might also work, make a single turret, copy it 8 times, then make a mold of the turret sprue. :)

Yes sir whatever is more cost effective. does it cost more to print a sprue of 8 turrets or to make two molds?!? Thats what youll have to look into to be cost effective.

For the size of them I'd just print the sprue of 8 turrets. It will be no more expensive than screwing around making a mould of the one, casting it 8 times and then spruing them all up by hand.

Definitely try to incorporate some holes for 2-3mm magnets!

The holes for the magnets will be quite a challenge since the parts that connect the turret to the hull have a diameter of 2.4mm, lets see how that will go! :D

I have 1mm wide magnets :P
and you can prep the model for magnets but its no problem drilling some holes...

I will definitely create some gaps in the components so that users can easily put in some magnets, so they can have variations of ship modules. As for magnetizing the turrets, if it is as simple as you say with the drill, I'd rather have it like that, since the turrets are already quite small, don't want to risk messing them up.
