I know... Same issue as the Zeus cruiser a few pages back: my camera makes the red colour too bright. I tried a gazillion pictures with different settings to no avail.
So I just named the vessel Red Hood after I gave up taking pictures. :x

if you have photoshop you could try to desaturate the red channel in your photo.
